ISO 9001:2015 Has Arrived !!

September 2015 the new standard was released.

The new documents include new requirements for : 

- Mandatory requirement changes - The number of must do’s – the “Shall”

•2008 had 225 “Shall” statements

•2015 has 287 “Shall”  statements

- Risk Management of the company, not just the manufacturing processes. (6.1)

- More focus on objectives and how objectives drive improvements (6.2) to measure, monitor, analyze and evaluate performance (9.1).

- More emphasis Senior Management Leadership being actively engaged with the QMS (5.1)

- Changes in records requirements

•ISO 9001:2008 - the requirement for records covered (17) areas.

•ISO 9001:2015 - now has (26) required records.

 

AS 9100 D has been released and we have implemented several systems to date.
